Plantar Fasciitis
Definition
Plantar Fasciitis is the inflammation of the fascia which is fibrous band of tissue that reaches from the heel bone to the base of the toes. The Plantar Fascia supports the muscles and the arch of the foot. When the Plantar Fascia is stretched, tiny tears may occur in its surface which causes inflammation and pain of the Plantar Fascia.
Symptoms

Pain in the arch of the foot and front or center of the heel

First step pain, especially in the morning

Causes

Poor footwear

Having tight Achilles tendons "calf muscle"
